Ted Mulry's last major attempt to crack the Top 40 was the 7" of "Old Habits" in 1990. It wasn't a big hit but it had followed the tried and true hit formula that was evident in all his Ted Mulry Gang (TMG) tracks.
NB. Ted has other songs on this blog for download - please use the search facility to locate them.
Here for download is his last single "Old Habits":

Hi Tom
ReplyDeleteThis is indeed a rarity so thanks for this. However while it may be the last TMG recording, it's not the last Ted Mulry one as you state. In fact Ted recorded a full album "This Time" which was released thru Southland Music & issued in 1999, just a year or so before his tragically untimely death at the young age of 49 (my age now LOL). It was his first full length release in 20 years & was a superb, not to mention fitting end to a fine career. And being a combination of the 2 styles that made his name, the balladeer of the early days & Quo-like boogie rocker of his later TMG years, it was final proof if still needed of what a fine songwriter he was. I've uploaded this now deleted album to the Midoztouch front page for others to discover

Cheers mate
Also had correspondence from another guy who has some songs by M16 a group that featured Ted's brother on lead vocal. I am trying to clean them up for him.
