Men At Work were 3 Aussies and 1 Scottish immigrant who lived in Melbourne and by the end of the 1970s were poised to take on the world. Their first single (self financed) was called “Key Punch Operator” backed with an earlier working version of their massive hit, “Down Under”. The single did not do that well but when they got an album deal it began to improve for the boys. Their first dance oriented reggae/rock album sold well, all around the world. It contained “Down Under” and “Who Can It Be Now”. Both songs got to #1 in England and the USA. The second album contained the hit “Overkill” which charted in numerous countries.
| 1983 chart position: | US Pop | US Rock | US AC | Australia | UK |
| “Overkill” | #3 | #3 | #6 | #5 | #21 |
