ANOTHER AUSSIE WHO HAD LOCAL CHART ACTION BUT HAS HAD NOTHING RELEASED ON C.D. IS AL HEAD.
SOME OF HIS WORK INCLUDED "WALK THE WORLD AWAY" AND "OH MAMMY BLUE". BOTH VERY WELL PRODUCED AND RELEASED IN THE EARLY 1970s BUT BECAUSE THEY WERE ON AN OBSCURE LABEL THEY SEEM TO HAVE BEEN FORGOTTEN.
HERE IS THE LINK TO "WALK THE WORLD AWAY":

DeleteHi, I've been trying to catch up with an Al Head who is a New Zealander, but lived in Newcastle at one stage of his life. (1960/70's)..If this is the Al Head, I'd be pleased to make you a friend on face-book. Al made me a leather case for my autoharp years ago, is a musician...and knew my (then partner)Peter Mitchell, (Guitarist). thanks you, Cecily Waters xx
